When the view is in draft mode you are also presented with the option to change the data source, this is useful when you need to switch from a development connection to production. The SQL tab displays the SQL that has been generated as a result of the business rules implied through the entity relationship diagram and the columns that have been created. You can use this tab to verify that the view you have built is generating the expected output SQL.

The elements tab provides a list of all source tables or views used in the view. The source database name, its description and alias are provided. In addition any joins and conditions are specified in detail.
