## Overview

Yellowfin supports your collaboration needs through the following features:

### Timeline

The Yellowfin User Timeline consists of several tabs designed to allow users to track events that occur in the system, and collaborate with other users.

> See [Timeline](https://yellowfin.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/yfcurrent/pages/2200289) for further information.

### Comments

Comments on reports which can highlight anomalies or share insight.

> See [Comments and Tasks](https://yellowfin.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/yfcurrent/pages/2197834) for further information.

### Discussions

Discussions that may reference several reports simultaneously.

> See [Discussion Streams](https://yellowfin.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/yfcurrent/pages/2204569) for further information.

### Approval

One of the process management features of Yellowfin is the option of setting up report approval processes. This means that if a user wishes to publish a report to a public directory and they are not authorised to do so the report can be routed to an approver for approval prior to going live.

> See [Approval](https://yellowfin.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/yfcurrent/pages/2198976) for further information.
