A cloud-specific deployment is typically easy to spin up, with its own built-in database and sample data. This makes them perfect for demos and the proof-of-concept stage of your project. Typically, data storage won’t be persistent, and the options available to customize Yellowfin will be reduced. For these reasons, we recommend you only spin up cloud-specific deployments for short-term requirements. However, each cloud platform has its own unique UI, pricing and environment options, and you should be familiar with the one you're using.
